Roberson Refined Safflower Oil Pale Colour 250ml Oil Painting Medium
Pale, coloured alkali refined safflower oil which has a little tendency to yellow. It is favoured for use with whites and blues. It has a longer drying time than linseed oil but dries faster than poppyseed oil. It gives oil paint a soft, buttery consistency. It increases gloss and transparency, this oil is the carrier for white pigments such as titanium and flake white and is therefore ideal for pale colours in a painting.
