Roberson Gloss Picture Varnish is a traditional picture varnish that gives oil paintings a high-gloss finish. It is removable with white spirit.\n\nThe varnish is a nearly colourless liquid made from ketone resin, standoil and white spirit. It dries to a clear, non-yellowing, non-blooming high-gloss film.\n\nPlease note: should let your paintings dry out and cure completely before applying it, which usually takes at least six months. The varnish is flammable and potentially harmful, so please take sensible precautions \u2013 keep the container closed and out of reach of children.
