Presented during the F1 75 launch event on February 18th at London’s O2 Arena, the SF-25 is the 71st Formula 1 car built by Ferrari. Although it is the fourth of the second generation of ground effect cars introduced in 2022, it represents a complete redesign, adopting different technical solutions compared to the past. The most visible change is the transition from push-rod to pull-rod front suspension. This architectural change aims to improve airflow around the car and offer greater opportunities for aerodynamic development, which had been largely exhausted in the previous model. The SF-25 is an evolution in every aspect compared to last year’s car, providing a solid foundation for further improvements. Heavily inspired by Ferrari’s extensive experience in both Formula 1 and the World Endurance Championship, the F80 continues Enzo Ferrari’s ambition to create the best possible vehicle for its era. With a power output of 1200 horsepower, it will be the most powerful road-going Ferrari ever made, featuring a series of technological firsts, including the first MGU-K electric motor produced by Ferrari and the first ever road-going CCM-R Plus brake system. The Ferrari F80 redefines the limits of what is possible, and we truly believe this will be a car destined to mark a true milestone in automotive progress.
