Assembled and finished by hand in the Amalgam workshops, the 1:4 scale model of the Ferrari 12-cylinder engine and gearbox celebrates the purest evolution of the Maranello-based manufacturer's engine philosophy. This extraordinary reproduction captures every detail of the iconic 830 hp V12 F140HD, the beating heart of the front-mid-engine berlinetta, capable of reaching 9500 rpm. Inspired by the legendary Gran Turismo cars of the 1950s and 1960s, the Ferrari 12Cilindri represents a masterful balance between sculptural elegance, versatility, and extreme performance. The result of meticulous development work lasting over 3,500 hours, each model requires more than 325 hours of manual assembly by a small team of skilled craftsmen. Created using CAD data provided directly by Ferrari and developed in close collaboration with the Ferrari Style Center and the design and engineering teams, this model faithfully reproduces every visible element of the engine and the eight-speed DCT transmission, including technical labels and barcodes for individual components. Each material has been reinterpreted to scale through dedicated finishes, to reproduce the aesthetics and mechanical complexity of the original with absolute precision. The model has undergone a rigorous verification process and has only been officially approved by Ferrari after careful evaluation of its accuracy. A highly prized object, produced in a limited edition of only 250 pieces, destined to become a benchmark for collectors and enthusiasts.
