Primrose Nepeta Neptune Catmint 9Cm Pot Perennial Plant from B&Q

Primrose Nepeta Neptune Catmint 9Cm Pot Perennial Plant from B&Q

Primrose

If cut back after the initial flowers have faded, this nepeta will usually go on to produce more. Lift and divide large clumps in spring, replanting divided specimens with lots of well-rotted organic matter. If powdery mildew becomes a problem prune out the affected areas. Please note: This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring. Pots and Packaging Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery. Preparation The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage. Plant on Arrival Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above. Position: Full sun Rate of growth: Average Soil: Moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil Hardiness: Fully hardy If space is at a premium, but you don't want to compromise on colour, then this new catmint could be just the ticket. It forms a compact clump of aromatic foliage, which is topped in summer with upright spires of larger than average Neptune blue flowers. It's a little plant, but it will really pack a punch in pots or front of border positions.
