When plants have finished flowering in summer, cut flowered shoots back to 5cm (2in) above the surface of the compost. Mint can be vigorous in the garden so unless you want a large clump, you can contain it by planting it in a large pot. Do keep well watered though. Please note: This herb dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring. Pots and Packaging Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery. Preparation The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport.
