Brighten up your winter décor with our felt penguin Christmas decoration. This cute, handmade felt decoration can be hung with its silver string on your Christmas tree or around the house. The felt is handmade from sustainable wool using traditional methods. Instead of weaving the wool, heat, moisture, and pressure are applied to entangle the fibres and create the beautiful material. The colours are created using only natural, colourfast dyes. Due to the handmade nature of these products the colours and designs may vary, but loveliness comes as standard. Please note: Our felt penguin is for decoration only and is not intended for use as a toy. This product has been made by a fantastic Fair Trade group which established in 2000. Their factory is based in the foothills of Kathmandu and employs over 300 people, with more than 80% comprising of women from nearby villages. Their main objective is to develop traditional Nepali craft industries so they can improve the living standard of the artisans and their families from rural areas, through Fair Trade practises.
