At 60 mm wide (approx. 2.36 inches) and 6 metres long (approx. 19.7 feet), it offers good load spread and reach while staying light and easy to handle compared to chain. The sling is rated to 2 tonnes (approx. 2,000 kg) and features reinforced eyes for reliable attachment to hooks and bow shackles. It conforms to BS3481: Part 2 1983 and is supplied with a test certificate for traceability.
