The superb 1/76/OO scale Oxford Diecast \""Showtime\"" Aveling & Porter Steam Road Roller \""Crusader\"" & tar spreader \""Eve\"" operated by Robert Bate of Fordhouses, Wolverhampton.\nThe model was intended to be the special Dorset Steam Fair model for 2020, but of course the covid pandemic led to the cancellation of the event.\nThe roller measures just over 3\"" (78mm) in length, & the tar spreader 1 1/2\"" (37mm). A tow bar is supplied to be fitted by the purchaser.\nThe model (Oxford No.76APR001_A) is presented on a display plinth with a clear display case & \""Great Dorset Steam Fair 2022\"" outer card sleeve.\nIt is new, mint & boxed. \nOxford says: This Aveling and Porter 1:76 scale Oxford roller looks a real workhorse. Its wonderfully muted, almost dirty green body shows it is getting down to the job in hand of rolling out the road and spreading the red hot tar macadam. Just love the smell! \nThe technical detailing is superb: the roll!
