This is the older ProWarm model — see our latest version for updates. The ProWarm Wood Underfloor Heating Mat is an ultra-thin electric radiant system designed for use under laminate, engineered and glued hardwood and other floating floors. Fluoropolymer-insulated heating cables are sandwiched between reinforced aluminium foil to deliver even heat distribution and reduce hot-spots. Kits are prefabricated with a cold tail, factory-tested and available in single, double or triple mat configurations for areas over 12 m², with a nominal heat output of 140 W/m². Each kit includes a programmable digital thermostat with floor probe, adhesive tape and conduit. Installation requires ProFoam or XPS insulation; when fitting carpet or vinyl use Heat-Pak Dual Overlay and ensure carpet plus underlay combined tog ≤ 2.0. Mats meet IEC 60335 test requirements and hold SEMKO approval. Lifetime warranty applies to ProWarm digital thermostats.
