Awarded second place in the 2024 Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year competition, Marshalls Garden Cosmos 'Cherry Chocolate' is a perennial chocolate cosmos that produces extra-large cherry-red flowers up to 7cm across with a delectable chocolate fragrance. Flowering from June to November, it delivers a long season of colour that attracts pollinators and suits use as cut flowers. More compact than other chocolate cosmos (growth height 0.1-0.5m), it is ideal for pots, patios, borders and the front of cottage beds. Hardy through most of the UK (H4, -10 to -5°C), low maintenance and best grown in full sun in well-drained, slightly acidic soil, it will come back year after year.
