Marshalls Garden Patio Pear Tree 'Conference' produces long bell-shaped pears with firm, smooth and juicy flesh, ideal for eating fresh or cooking. A late-season crop (harvest October to November) that stores well into January, it offers extended enjoyment of homegrown fruit. Grafted onto Quince A rootstock for earlier fruiting and moderate vigour, this tree is partially self-fertile; planting another pear variety nearby will improve yields. Plant in full sun and water thoroughly after planting, keeping the soil moist (but not waterlogged) during the first year while the tree establishes.
