Christine is an early main (June-bearer) strawberry variety with vigorous growth that comes into leaf and flower early, producing fruit slightly sooner than other main-season cultivars. It yields firm, sweet red berries ideal for pots, patios, borders, raised beds and small gardens. Christine shows good disease resistance, including resistance to verticillium wilt, and thrives in fertile, well-drained soil with a pH of 5.5-6.8. A perennial hardy to H2 (1 to 5°C), plants reach 0.1-0.5 m and are ready for summer harvesting.
