Fragrant oregano (Origanum vulgare) supplied as a 1L potted plant - a hardy herbaceous perennial that thrives in full sun and tolerates most soils. Produces attractive pink flowers that attract bees and other beneficial insects, and can spread up to 45cm across, reaching around 45cm in height. Best used dried as a flavourful addition to pizza, pasta and Mediterranean dishes - ideal for kitchen gardens, patio containers, window sills, borders and raised beds. Low-maintenance, high-yield and edible - recommended for container planting; most herbs need 4–6 hours of direct sunlight, and a south-facing aspect is ideal. Feed sparingly with a balanced slow-release fertiliser or organic compost once a month during the growing season.
