One of the very earliest strawberry varieties to fruit, Vibrant can crop from late May in warm springs and generally from early June to early July. Mature plants (usually from year 3) produce many successive trusses, each with 4–5 flowers, giving a steady crop and uniform fruit size. Vibrant shows good resistance to mildew and crown rot. Our PREMIUM grade bare root runners are grown differently from traditional runners: where traditional runners produce 2–3 flower stalks in year one, each with six-plus fruits, the PREMIUM grade can produce up to 10 flower stalks with six-plus fruits per stalk, delivering three to four times more fruit in year one.
