Item Details\n\nItem\nBlack Tooling GCT/5272H Brushing Gelcoat\n\nSize\n5kg Kit\n\nInformation\n\nIntended Use \n\nDesigned to be used for the manufacture of GRP tools/moulds. \n\nCharacteristics \n\nSuitable for application by brush or roller to give an even film, free from air. Our tooling gelcoat yields a film that is hard and tough with good flexibility. \n\nApplication \n\nFormulated to cure at temperatures > 16\u00B0C and needs only the addition of catalyst prior to use. Medium activity methylethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) is the recommended catalyst at an addition level of 2% by weight to ensure sufficient cure at room temperature. For best results it should be applied in one layer of 375-500 pms (microns)/0.375-0.5mm or 460-610g per square metre.\n\nSpecification\n\nLiquid properties :Pseudoplastic and thixotropic\nGel time :100gm gelcoat, 2% MEKP @ 25\u00B0C <15min\nPlease note - Polyester gelcoats are best used within six months from date of purchase.\n\nDocumentat.
