The coarse self-tapping thread features specialised wings that ream out timber, enabling maximum RPM operation without burnout. Upon contact with metal, the wings break off cleanly, allowing the screw to self-tap securely into the metal substrate for a robust, lasting hold. Each screw incorporates a Phillips recess compatible with the included PH3 S2 bit, while the Silver Ruspert coating offers corrosion resistance suitable for clean, dry, low humidity environments. Salt spray resistance tested to BS EN 9227 standards ensures reliable performance across demanding applications.
