Super Wine Yeast Compound and Campden Tablets by Young's. \nThis pack contains 2 key ingredients used by wine, cider and mead makers as follows: \nYoung's Super Wine Yeast Compound (60g resealable tub): this blend of wine yeast, bentonite, yeast nutrient, and vitamins is designed to improve and maintain fermentation. It simplifies winemaking because it combines brewing yeast and nutrients together, encouraging a fast start. The bentonite derived from clay then helps to improve clearing later in the homebrew process. The usual dosage is 1 heaped teaspoon per gallon, though check your recipe. When using Super Wine Yeast Compound you don't need to use Wine Yeast too as it is included in this blend. \nYoung's Campden Tablets (50 tablets in a resealable tub): Young\u2019s Campden Tablets (sodium metabisulphite) are widely used by homebrewers to sterilise the must/wort, inhibit wild yeast and bacteria, and prevent wine, cider and mead from oxidising and/or being contaminated whilst b.
