The All Pond Solutions 500 L/H HOB-500 Aquarium Hang-on External Filter is suitable for fresh and salt water aquarium tanks up to 250 litres capacity. The housing of the HOB-500 hangs outside the fish tank making it a real space saver for small aquariums that have no room for internal filters. The water flow rate can be adjusted to adapt to the size of your aquarium.Filter Operation:Filter draws water up a vertical plastic inlet tube into the large filter chamber, where it filters through a set of media-filled baskets (filter media sold separately), providing chemical, biological, and mechanical filtration. After the water has gone through the filter media, it returns to the tank via the nozzle outlet / spray bar.
