\n2mm x 10 metres of Aluminium Jewellery / Craft / Armature Wire \n\nThis listing is for 10 metres of the 2mm gauge aluminium craft wire suitable for use in jewellery work, armature building, and general model making using clays or plasticine.\n\nOur aluminium wires start with the fine 0.71mm gauge and go up to the robust 3.25mm. Soft and easy to work with even the 2mm wire can be easily cut with a pair of scissors and the 3.25mm cut with 'some effort'.\n\nWhere greater strength / load bearing and rigidity is required such as larger model making with clays etc. we have galvanised steel wire in 1.25mm and 2mm gauges. These wires offer considerably more strength than the aluminium (the 1.25mm galvanised is for example about as strong as the 3.25mm aluminium) but are harder to form and usually require wire cutters. \n\nWire lengths are approximate and it should be noted that whilst most are 'over' the 2mm in particular can come u!
