We have matched the Highclere chessmen with a superbly presented wooden chessboard crafted from quality walnut and maple veneers. Renowned for their expertise in marquetry and backgammon sets, this 19.7-inch board is produced by the reputable family Manopoulous, based in Greece and has a delightful old-fashioned artisanal feel and look about it.
