Introducing the notated version of our 15.75-inch mahogany wooden chessboard. With its veneer construction of inlaid squares, this is a classic, clean version of an already hugely popular board. This is a good quality, solid chessboard that will provide years of use if not decades. On the playing surface, the squares are 40mm wide, which is just over 1.5 inches. This makes this board suitable for pieces with a king height of 3.25 inches or European No.4 size. This lovely board is supplied with notation, allowing you to record each move in each game so you will be able to read and replay at a later date. It also allows you to play notated games from years ago. Games that are recorded in this fashion allow you to review, analyse and learn from them.
