Each chess piece has been expertly turned from solid boxwood, with the black pieces undergoing 'ebonisation' - a very convincing process that gives them the look of real ebony. Each piece is then weighted and felted on the base. The 3.5-inch king height makes them ideal for chess boards from 20 inches (50cm). This set includes 4 queens.
