A remarkable Hybrid Tea rose with dark green glossy foliage that acts as a base for high-pointed, springtime buds.These buds soon open to reveal blooms of more than 40 deep cerise pink petals, with flashes of silvery white. Even as the flowers start to fade, they remain vibrant, as the cerise colouring deepens to purple, before falling.Very few thorns grow on the stems of ‘Dr. Susan Michaelis’, making it an excellent candidate for cutting for the vase. A subtle, yet spicy perfume is released by the blooms, which only intensifies on warm summer evenings.Supplied freshly in a 4L pot, ready to be planted out.We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months.
