This safe and natural solution is designed to control many types of pond algae including blanket weed. Blanket weed will spoil the appearance of any pond, destroying the biological balance, damaging plants and even killing fish. During the Spring, Summer and early Autumn months garden ponds may turn green due to the growth of algae. The condition will then lead to the growth of other algae like blanket weed. This blanket weed treatment uses the unique hydro gel technology to flocculate all floating green algae and deters further blanket weed growth. Instructions Use 10ml per 225 litres or 50 gallons of water. 1. Shake the bottle. 2. Remove the cap which is not on the measuring chamber. 3. Squeeze the bottle gently until you reach the required level on the measuring chamber. 4. Treat weekly if you have problems then every 2 weeks during the spring and summer term. This product contains a flocculant. This causes the algae to adhere together and sink to the bottom of the pond. This product is effective with most forms of algae. PLEASE NOTE: This product, when used as directed, is completely safe for aquatic life and is designed solely for use in ponds and lakes. Because we use a flocculant agent we are legally obliged to add labelling stating it could be harmful to aquatic life. This product is designed to be used in ponds and lakes and the flocculant agent we use is in extremely low levels to make this product effective and is in no way a danger to pond life.
