From independent bottlers, Duncan Taylor, this Glenrothes expression has been aged for 12 years, including a five-month finish in reconstructed ex sherrywood Octave casks. Presented at 54.6% abv. Only 101 bottles were drawn from the cask, which was reserved exclusively for us at The Whisky Shop. Aromas of marshmallows, lime zest, apple pie, and green olives lead to a palate of gentle sherry, custard, sugared almonds, stewed strawberries and toffee sponge.
