The system architecture is built around in-house silicon, with the RP1 Southbridge providing upgraded I/O capabilities, faster data transfer rates, and improved peripheral performance.A new four-lane 1.5Gbps MIPI transceiver system triples the available bandwidth and supports simultaneous connection of two cameras or displays. The board also supports high-speed SD card access and includes a single-lane PCI Express 2.0 interface, enabling integration with high-bandwidth peripherals.
