Offering a gentler soft to medium support, the Cypress mattress is substantially filled and features an interior of body contouring pocket springs. Boasting a soft to touch stretch knit fabric, the mattress features hand tufting - a process that ensures its fillings are held securely in place. Hand tufting is achieved by passing tapes through the entire mattress at regular intervals and securing them on each side with a woollen tuft. Small in diameter and encased within their own cloth sleeves, its pocket springs are totally independent and free of any surrounding springs. The result is a flexible spring system that directly supports at the point of contact and is not affected by varying weight and body shapes. To further strengthen the finished unit, a thick rod-edge wire is fitted around the perimeter springs to reinforce the mattress border. As it39;s designed to be dual sided, it39;s recommended that the mattress is flipped over and rotated from head to toe on a regular basis. Supporting the mattress is a deep divan base that comes with wide selection of colours, a range of storage options and a choice of feet. Please note: Headboard is not included.
