Fully upholstered in a 100 viscose fabric, the Innovation Comfort 7000 mattress combines a blend of pocket springs and deep layers of natural fillings. To replace traditional hand tufting, the mattress features internal tufting - a process that secures the fillings without the need for cotton or woollen tufts. The mattress features deep layers of natural fillings such as wool, cotton, cashmere and silk that have the ability to regulate your body39;s temperature. The interior of the mattress contains a unique make-up of 1000 central pocket springs, with 3000 mini tablet pocket spring comfort layers on either side. Each spring is totally independent of any surrounding coil and housed in its own cloth sleeve, resulting in piston-like support to each part of the body. An added feature is its side-stitched mattress borders - a labour intensive and intricate technique that take craftsmen many years to master. Using high-tension twine and a long upholstery needle, the side-stitching process attaches the mattress border to the perimeter rows of springs. Side-stitching strengthens the mattress border and prevents it from bowing out over the years.It also offers edge-to-edge support across its width.
