The Majestic mattress enjoys a blend of body responsive pocket springs and deep layers of natural fillings, resulting in a firm, yet comfortable support. The mattress is upholstered in a premium damask fabric and benefits from a hand tufted finish a traditional method to secure the fillings stay in place. Tufting is a process thats applied by passing nylon tapes through mattress at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with woollen tufts. Set below the outer fabric are layers of wool, silk and cashmere that have the ability to disperse excess moisture away from the body for a fresher nights sleep. The core of the mattress features a unique make-up of 1000 standard pocket springs, topped off with 2000 mini tablet comfort pocket springs. Each spring is totally independent of any surrounding coil and housed in its own cloth sleeve, resulting in piston-like support to each part of the body. An added feature is its 2 rows of side-stitching - a process that sews the border to the outer springs by way of a long upholstery needle and high-tension twine. This strengthens the mattress perimeter and offers edge-to-edge support across the mattress width, increasing its sleeping surface by 20. The mattress is designed to be an easy-care, one-sided mattress that does not need to be flipped over, but regular rotation is recommended.
