The Signature Support divan bed consists of a medium to firm natural filled pocket spring mattress and a modern and practical deep divan base. The mattress is fully upholstered in a luxurious 100 Viscose fabric and benefits from a hand tufted finish - a process that ensures the fillings stay in place. Natural fillings such as wool, cotton, cashmere and silk have the ability to regulate body temperatures throughout the winter and summer months. Sandwiched between these deep natural layers is an interior made up of 1000 central pocket springs, with 3000 mini comfort tablet springs on both sides. Pocket springs are small in diameter compared to traditional open coils and housed in their own cloth sleeves that are totally independent of any surrounding springs. Reserved for premium mattresses, an added feature is side-stitching; a labour intensive and intricate technique that takes many years for craftsmen to master. The side-stitching process involves the outer rows of springs being sewn to the mattress border by using high-tension twine and a long upholstery needle. Providing edge-to-edge support and increasing the sleeping area by 20, this highly skilled process ensures the mattress border will not bow out over time. Supporting the mattress is a deep divan base that comes with a range of fabrics and colours, a choice of base types and a selection of selection of storage options. Please note: Headboard is not included.
