Look, sometimes you have to dig a little deeper, but then you get something, and in the end you are very happy with it. Nice example: the Allen & Heath Qu-7. You have to pay a bit of money for it, but then you get a top-class digital mixer and recorder. And a big one at that; we should too, considering the 32 channels on this console. That's another 32 (+1) motor faders; combined with the large colour display and all encoders, this gives you instantly callable scenes. Very handy for big bands and big theatres. SLink then; this interfaces with devices from A&H's Everything I/O series. This Qu is a hugely enjoyable machine, and the fact that our customers very often walk away with A&H gear speaks volumes.
