This galvanised cover and frame is a lightweight manhole cover. It has a plastic frame and a metal cover that measures 650 mm by 500 mm. Set the frame into concrete and fit the cover before it sets hard. The cover fits an opening 600 mm by 450 mm. It's fitted with handles to make it easier for you to lift the cover and inspect the chamber. Although sturdy, the cover is lightweight enough to handle easily. It's rated Class A, which means it'll support weight up to 2.5 tonnes. That's tough enough to easily withstand day-to-day foot or bicycle traffic.
