SLIP COUPLING FOR REPAIRS: Unlike a standard equal coupling, this EF1S fitting has no internal pipe stop, so it slides fully onto one length of 15mm copper pipe. This lets you repair a cut, split or damaged section of existing pipework, or join two pipe ends that cannot be sprung apart to fit a normal coupling. END FEED (SOLDER) JOINT: A capillary end-feed fitting - solder is fed in using flux and solder wire/ring at each end for a soldered joint. There is no thread, no BSP connection and no compression nuts or olives; a competent soldered joint is needed for a secure, leak-free connection. SOLID COPPER BODY: Made from copper for good heat conduction during soldering and long-term durability, suitable for domestic hot and cold water plumbing and heating pipework.
