Aromatic and compact, this English lavender variety showcases a profusion of dark purple-blue flower spikes, perfect for cutting and drying. Its nectar-rich blooms are a magnet for bees. With its green-grey evergreen foliage and dense, bushy form, it makes a superb low hedge or path edging. Equally at home in a cottage garden, containers or pots on the patio.Simple to cultivate and undemanding, it needs minimal upkeep. Grow in free draining soil in full sun, as it dislikes wet ground, especially during winter. Improve heavy soils by incorporating coarse grit or sharp sand before planting. When growing in large patio containers or pots, use a well-drained soil-based compost.After planting, prune to encourage a bushy habit. Water regularly throughout the summer until established, after which it becomes reasonably drought-tolerant.
