Quickly maturing to bright green throughout the summer, the leaves will mature to orange, gold and red for an exceptional autumn display. A small, deciduous tree, Amelanchier makes a fine specimen for smaller gardens with plenty of season interest. The autumn foliage colours of Amelanchier will be at their best when grown in full sun. Plant into a moist, but well-drained soil, which can be neutral to acidic. Can be grown as a free-standing specimen tree or trained as a hedge.
