A convenient and simple solution to growing potatoes on your patio, terrace or balcony, this potato growing bag is ideal for homes with restricted outdoor space. The black or grey colouring prevents light reaching the developing potato tubers and absorbs heat for a kick start in the spring. This way they are also less susceptible to pests and diseases, offering you a better chance of achieving great results, enjoy healthy and delicious crops. Lightweight for ease of moving and positioning, the versatility means it can be re-planted year after year. Fold and pack flat for easy storage when not in use.Fill the 8 litre potato bag with quality multipurpose compost to about 2.5cm (1") below the rim, then carefully place a single chitted potato tuber into the compost with the shoots pointing upwards, to a depth of 12cm (5") from the soil surface. Gently cover the tuber with compost. Place the potato bag in a bright, frost free position, water regularly and feed potato plants every other week with potato fertiliser.
