Each fruit measures 5-6cm in length and weighs 18-20g, demonstrating impressive tolerance to cracking, ensuring perfect tomatoes fresh off the vine. To promote healthy growth, water tomato plants frequently to maintain consistent moisture in the compost. Once the first truss of fruit appears, feed the tomatoes regularly with a high-potash plant food. Secure the main stems to their supports and prune any sideshoots that emerge between the main stem and leaf stems. After the plant has produced 6 or 7 trusses, pinch off the top of the main stem. This technique of sideshooting and stopping enhances light and air circulation around the developing fruit, allowing the plant to concentrate its energy on producing a plentiful harvest of high-quality tomatoes. Harvesting can occur from July to October as the tomatoes reach ripeness. Ideal for kitchen gardens, greenhouses, and conservatories, this variety is half-hardy and thrives in full sun.
