Sow directly outdoors or start indoors for even larger flowers, and enjoy a simple growing process that’s perfect for wildlife areas, cottage gardens or creating cheerful cut flower arrangements at home. Each packet contains 25 seeds ready to transform your garden into a summer haven. Where to sow: Outdoors where they are to flower. Preparation: Prepare the ground by raking until it is fine and crumbly, removing any large stones. Sowing: Sow thinly, 12mm deep in drills 45cm. Growing: When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 45cm apart. For really giant sunflowers: Sow indoors individually into 7.5cm pots late winter/early spring at a temperature of 20-30°C (68-86F). Grow on in good light, and plant out when all risk of frost is passed 45cm apart. Product Specifications: Position: Full sun. Height: Up to 300cm when fully established.
