Thompson & Morgan Antirrhinum Mini Cherry Cola 1 Seed Packet (50 Seeds) from B&Q
Thompson & Morgan
Mini Cherry Cola' is a compact Antirrhinum direct from T&M’s own breeding programme! Spires of cherry red Snapdragon blooms are borne on dwarf, well-branched plants boasting dark, almost black foliage. Perfect for filling beds, borders and containers, where the beautiful, free-flowering blooms will attract a range of pollinating insects to the garden all summer. Antirrhinum 'Mini Cherry Cola' shows superb resistance to rust, so disease won’t cut your display short. Culinary note: these pretty flowers can be used as garnishes or dressings but can have a bland or sometimes bitter taste. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 25cm (10").Sow Antirrhinum seeds indoors or under glass from January to March on the surface of a good quality seed compost and gently firm down. Place the seed tray in a propagator at a temperature of 20-25C (68-77F) or seal inside a clear polythene bag until germination which takes 10 - 21 days. Keep the compost damp but not wet and do not exclude light. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into 7.5cm (3") pots and grow Snapdragon plants on in cooler conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions over 7-10 days before planting outdoors. Plant Snapdragons at a distance of 30cm (12") apart on any light, well-drained soil in full sun.Product specifications:Position: Full SunHeight: Up to 30cm when fully establishedSpread: Up to 25cm when fully establishedSupplied as 1x Antirrhinum 'Mini Cherry Cola' seed packet (approx. 50 seeds)Flowering period – June to September.
