Not only do these glorious summer flowers look like attractive exotic orchids, as their name suggests, they actually change colour – you’ll believe it once you’ve seen it! Check each flower every couple of days and watch the colours transform. These easy to grow seeds will give you easy summer colour for the whole season that is sure to make an impact and remain manageable, requiring less care than other varieties.Sow outdoors where they are to flower. Before sowing, prepare the ground well by raking until the soil is fine and crumbly and remove any large stones. Sow 20mm (3/4") deep, in rows 30cm (12") apart, or scatter seed in beds or borders as a gap filler and lightly cover over.Thin out the plants when the seedlings are large enough to handle, to about 23cm (9") apart. Water regularly until plants are fully established.
