Grow your own Cacti at home with our Cactus ‘Special Mix’! This mix contains a range of varieties and you can grow a lovely collection of cacti in different shapes and sizes – perfect for a feature in on windowsills or in conservatories. Flowering most times throughout the year, you will enjoy year round interest that will keep your home bang on trend!Packets should contain: Carnegia gigantes, Ferocactus aconthodes, Ferocactus wislenzii. Lemairocereus thurberi. Opuntis phaecantha, Opuntis chtorotica, Pachycereus pringlii, Cylindropuntia Imbricata.Sow from mid winter to late summer in a free draining compost, just covering the seed with silver sand. Seal in a polythene bag or cover with glass until germination which can take from 2-12 weeks. As this is a mixture, different types will germinate at different times. They will all germinate at 21 -24C (70-75P) but for most rapid results we recommend gradually raising the temperature over a period of 2 weeks from 14C (57P) to 30C (86F), when the large green seed leaf has been observed. Divide seedlings out into 6cm (2in) pots, then 8cm (3in) and 15cm (6in) pots as required, and water carefully until established.
