Grow your own delicious and high-yielding white sprouting broccoli with Thompson & Morgan's Burbank F1 Hybrid seed packet. This strong and vigorous British-bred variety produces an abundance of large, creamy-white spears perfect for culinary use. Supplied as a packet of 25 seeds, these seeds are ideal for sowing from March to June. For best results, sow seeds at a depth of 13mm (1/2") and space 30cm (12") apart, transplanting to their final positions around 5 weeks later. Choose a sheltered spot with rich, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Water regularly and keep the soil free of weeds. Harvest spears when they are 15cm (6") long before the flowers open; regular picking encourages further production. Suitable for freezing.
