Rudbeckia Hirta Rustic Dwarfs Mixed is a summer flowering annual which grows well in beds and borders giving a great splash of colour. Once established plants will flower from July through until the first frosts producing striking yellow/red/orange flowers. Ideal for cottage, wildlife and cut flower gardens where they can be enjoyed by pollinating insects. Sow in greenhouse or propagator in early spring, very shallowly in moist seed compost at 21-24C (70-75F). Pick out when large enough to handle and grow on at 15C (60F). Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 30cm (12in) apart in a sunny spot and well drained soil.
