Godetia 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' produces a lovely mix of pink, red and salmon coloured blooms The blooms appear like azaleas providing a stunning display throughout the summer into early autumn for a long flowering period. Ideal for patio containers or in cottage or wildlife gardens. Sow thinly, 3mm (1/8in) deep in drills 45cm (18in) apart in well cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Thin out seedlings to 15-22cm (6-9in) apart. For Earlier Flowering: Sow indoors in pots or trays. Transplant when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow on cool, in full light and water sparingly. Plant out after all risk of frost.
