Add a vibrant splash of colour to your meals with Thompson & Morgan Carrot Redsun F1 Hybrid seeds. These maincrop carrots produce distinctive, large, deep burgundy-red roots with an exceptional flavour. Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, Carrot 'Redsun' is a versatile vegetable perfect for roasting, boiling, or enjoying raw in salads and as a snack. Each packet contains approximately 200 seeds, yielding plants that grow up to 30cm in height and 15cm in spread. For best results, sow outdoors from April to June in a weed-free, sunny position with fertile, light, well-drained soil. Prepare seed beds in autumn to avoid fresh manure. Sow thinly at 1cm depth in drills 30cm apart. Thin seedlings to 5cm apart when large enough. Suitable for container growing. Harvest period is August to November.
