Aptly named, Beetroot 'Rainbow Beet' is a mixture of five different colourful varieties of beetroot with vibrant skins, stems and foliage. Each beetroot has a sweet taste, whether eaten hot or cold, cooked, pickled or raw, making a crunchy addition to a salad or a delicious side to a meal. They can be eaten as mature root or 'baby beets'. This collection comprises of: Beetroot 'Subeto' - A deep, characteristic purple root and stem with green leaves. Beetroot 'Boldor' - A globe variety with vibrant yellow flesh and unusual orange skin, contrasting with its green leaves. Beetroot 'Chioggia' - A globe variety of red-pink skin and a stunning bullseye formation in its flesh which goes pink when cooked. Beetroot 'Albina Vereduna' - A pure white root with pale, leafy green stems and an excellent taste. Beetroot 'Bull's Blood Scarletta' - A burgundy-purple skin, stems and leaves but a contrasting cerise pink inside.
