Growing nasturtiums couldn’t be easier-just sow outdoors where they’ll flower, water regularly until established, and enjoy their vigorous climbing habit as they reach impressive heights. Each seed packet contains 20 seeds and comes with clear growing instructions, so you’ll soon enjoy a flourishing garden and culinary delights. Where to sow: Outdoors where they are to flower. Preparation: Prepare the ground by raking until it is fine and crumbly, removing any large stones. Sowing: Sow 20mm deep, in rows 30cm apart. Growing: Thin out young plants to 23cm apart. Water regularly until plants are fully established. Growing nasturtiums is easy, and once established, they require little attention. For earlier flowering: Sow in 7.5cm pots of free-draining compost. Place at 15-20°C (77-68F) until germination. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting out after the risk of frost. Before planting into containers, ensure plants are well rooted in their pots.
