Treat your garden to this unique sweet pea! Sweet Pea 'Nimbus'! The exhibition quality blooms of 'Nimbus' look as good and they smell, with marbled flowers that emit a divine scent! Great in the garden and perfect as a cut flower to enjoy in the home. Train this easy to grow sweet pea up trellis in the garden or in a pot, to bring the colour and fragrance to your patio.Start off in a seed tray or pots. Soak seeds overnight in tepid water. Fill a seed tray or 7.5cm (3in) pots with good, free draining, damp, seed compost. Sow 1cm (1/2in) deep 7.5cm (3in) apart or 3 seeds per 7.5cm (3in) pot, place pots in a propagator or seal inside a polythene bag and keep at around 20-25C (68-77F) until germination (approx. 7-21 days). Don’t exclude light as this helps germination. Alternatively sow outdoors, 2.5cm (1in) deep, in drills 7.5cm (3in) apart. Plant into their final flowering positions in spring once the ground has warmed, 23-30cm (9-12in) apart. Pinch out the growing point once the second pair of leaves has opened. Water freely in dry weather. Train the stems onto a support such as trellis. Cut flower stems frequently and deadhead faded blooms.
