Thompson & Morgan Agastache Hybrida Astello Indigo 1 Seed Packet (15 Seeds) from B&Q
Thompson & Morgan
Indulge your senses with the marvellous mint-scented flowers of Agastache 'Astello Indigo'! These pretty half-hardy perennial plants boast long-lasting, deep blue flower spikes, which are irresistible to bees and butterflies. A fabulous addition to borders, containers, gravel gardens and wildlife borders, Agastache plants are generally grown as annuals in colder areas. Culinary note: add both flowers and leaves to cakes or whipping cream for a hint of anise flavour.Sow Agastache seeds from February to April at 15-20C (60-68F), on the surface of a good quality seed compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Keep the soil damp but not wet and do not exclude light. Place in a propagator or seal the seed tray inside a polythene bag until after germination, which usually takes 30-90 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow them on in cooler conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When Agastache plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant outdoors in full sun on fertile, well-drained soil at a distance of 60cm (24") apart.Product specifications:Position: Full Sun Height: Up to 60cm when fully establishedSpread: Up to 30cm when fully establishedSupplied as 1x Agastache hybrida 'Astello Indigo' seed packet (approx. 15 seeds)Flowering period – July to OctoberImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
